The CES Tech That Will Make Your Life Better
Last week was the ultimate tech show — otherwise known as the Consumer Electronics Show or CES. It’s the time of the year when tech giants and startups cram into a huge expo center in Las Vegas and show off all the goodies they have been working on for the past year.
Every year we’re filled with awe at some of the cool stuff “coming to a retailer near you soon”. Today we wanted to highlight a couple of products to keep an eye on that we think we will make your work life just a little bit easier in the year to come.
Asus 13 inch laptop with a 14 inch screen – What? That doesn’t even make sense, but it’s true. The computer master minds have figured out a way to maximize the screen size while keeping with the overall computer size small and compact. For workers constantly on the go this could be just the device they need.
Sevenhugs smart remote – Brings a whole new meaning to point and click. By aiming this remote at items around your home or work the remote changes function. Point it at your Nest thermostat and you’ll get the ability to change the temp, point it at the door and it will call an Uber to take you home.
Kado ultra-slim chargers– One of the problems with keeping your devices charged is that cords and plugs are a hassle to carry around and you never have it when you need it. This portable charger is about to change all that. It’s about the size of a credit so it can be thrown into your wallet or purse for emergency situations when you are on the go and the battery on your cell is dropping fast right before a big call.
Nvidia A.I. to Power Self-Driving Cars– Sure you may still physically have to commute to the office or a meeting every now and again, but wouldn’t that ride be so much better if you could read, work, or even nap? While we’ve known for a while that self-driving cars are heading out way soon, we now know more about the technology that will power those cars.
Mini 3-D Printer- We’ve all heard of 3-D printers — it’s usually a tool used by massive tech companies or the health care field and not in our home offices. With Monoprice Delta Mini the technology needed to print in 3-D is now incredible affordable and small enough to fit on a desk in your house.
Connected Toaster – Okay, maybe this isn’t totally related to making work life better, but we still think it’s cool. I mean who doesn’t want a toaster that can also double as a Bluetooth radio while also being able to create the perfect piece of toast…
We can’t wait to get our hands on some of this stuff!
