Can You Hear Me? Good.
We’ve all been on calls where, mid-sentence, someone’s dog starts barking in the background. “Can everyone put themselves on mute?” “I don’t think everyone is on mute…” “Larry, are you on mute?” Then everyone wants to know Larry’s dog’s name, and he gets pulled up on video conference to ogle over because the dog is just that cute… next thing you know, the meeting is over before it’s even begun. You’ve told us just how painful this experience is, and we heard you (pun intended). So we’re happy to share that join.me has just launched two new audio features that will help you host the productive, high-quality calls that you expect, every time!
First, to make sure Fido doesn’t steal the show from you again, we’ve launched individual mute. Meeting hosts now have the power to individually mute participants with just a click of the mouse. Don’t worry, they can unmute themselves when they need to talk – but it’s truly helpful when background noises become distractions and your attendees don’t realize it. You can mute them and move right along.
Next, we’re also bringing you a feature we like to call “Look Who’s Talking”. With this update you can see visually who is talking in your meeting when they call in to a meeting over the computer or a phone! Anyone who is actively speaking will have a highlight around their join.me bubble, and in the participant list. So as you are having complex conversations with multiple callers, you’ll never wonder who just chimed in again!
